Medical Examinations
Before the issuance of an immigrant visa, every applicant, regardless of age, must undergo a medical examination. The examination will be conducted by a doctor or clinic designated by the U.S. Embassy. It is the applicant’s responsibility to cover any examination costs, which come in addition to the visa fees.
Please come to the Embassy on immigrant visa walk-in days, and you will be provided with an envelope containing the medical forms for the panel physician who will examine you, and go to the following clinic for medical examinations:

Note – The average time frame for a medical exam to be completed and results to be returned to the Consular section is between 2 to 3 weeks. Please follow-up with the clinic, and as soon as their sealed envelope is ready with the results, collect it and bring it to the Embassy.
