The United States Global AIDS Coordinator, Randall Tobias, oversees President George W. Bush's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
The Coordinator's mission is to establish primary responsibility for all resources and international activities of the U.S. Government to combat the HIV/AIDS pandemic. This includes, but is not limited to, U.S. contributions to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, as well as projects to advance the HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment goals.
